Carrollton’s newest release on Centricity will feature 10 new songs. The album’s first single, “Shelter,” recently shipped to radio and is already receiving adds and acclaim. The song’s booming sound relates to the LP’s overall sonic vibe, which the band stretched themselves to develop.
Halfway between Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky, lies the small town of Carrollton. Although only a little over 3,000 people call it home, for Justin Mosteller, Jeremy Menard, Michael Loy and Jordan Bailey it signifies their brotherly bond, their music, and their namesake. The quaint town of Carrollton is the breath of fresh air on the road and the hope-filled reminder of the places they call home. Carrollton released their debut EP with Centricity Music in early 2014 called Breathe In Deep produced by Paul Moak (Matt Maher, Jars of Clay, and Rhett Walker Band). They released the single “Holding On To You” in late 2014 produced by Chris Stevens (TobyMac, Mandisa, Sanctus Real, and Jamie Grace). They have worked with many all-star writers and producers including David Leonard (All Sons & Daughters), Sam Mizell, Justin Ebach, Matt Armstrong, Josh Bronleewe, and Paul Moak (Matt Maher, Jars of Clay, Rhett Walker Band) and have toured with well-known artists Jason Gray and Unspoken.
